Well, if you’re on Sprint with an Android device, you can now purchase you apps from the market and have them charged to your Sprint bill rather than add a credit card (if you’re still a little paranoid of putting your credit number online).

Word around the campfire is that Google is currently working with Mastercard and Citigroup in getting NFC into more stores. Exactly how we’re not sure, but essentially, Google would own the data from a transaction made using NFC, so it can resell it to the highest third party company bidder.

94% of North Americans would use secure mobile payments

Mobio Identity Systems, a payment solutions provider, did a recent survey which states that 94% of North Americans would be okay with using mobile payments as long as it was secure. The survey interviewed 1,085 people, and of the 94%, 73% said that security was the main concern, 12.4% said that it had to be easy, and 8.5% said it had to be fast.
