The Sprint Kyocera Echo is one of the weirdest, most unique Android smartphones to come out this year so far, and although I love the idea of having dual-screens, I’m not sure that this idea will take off, or have developers take advantage of the feature set.
Sprint HTC EVO 3D hands-on images

T-Mobile launching LG G2X and G-Slate this Spring – pre-loaded with Tegra Zone
T-Mobile is stirring things up a little at CTIA this week with the announcement of the new LG G2X (Optimus 2X) and G-Slate tablet, both running Android OS. The LG G2X will come with Android 2.2 Froyo stock, with a few pre-loaded apps such as Qik, Need for Speed Shift HD, T-Mobile TV, and DTS Ultra Mobile sound enhancer.

Finally Sprint is making good on its updating promises and putting out Sprint ID packed into its Android 2.2 Froyo update for the Epic 4G and the Galaxy Tab. Sprint ID is a custom UI from Sprint which includes several enhancements to the Android skin.
Adobe Flash 10.2 available – beta for Android 3.0 – video demo
The latest version of Adobe Flash is now available for Android devices, version 10.2 (10.2.156.12). The latest version is a release candidate for Android 2.2 Froyo and Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but still only in beta form for Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets.

Here we are now with actual research proof that Android kicks the crap out of iOS’s browser speed. The firm responsible for this case study is Blaze, and the platforms tested were iOS 4.2 and 4.3, as well as Android 2.2 and 2.3.
