Apple must pay Nokia for patent infringement

In an ongoing legal battle over certain patents that Apple had infringed upon belonging to Nokia, the battle has finally come to a close and has its victor. AT&T to buy T-Mobile USA for $39 billion – what about facetime now?

This is a big deal! AT&T has agreed to buy T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom for the total amount of $39 billion which includes $25 billion in cash value and $14 billion in stocks. If this deal goes through, which it will take about 12 months to go through all the red tape as it were, AT&T will have a GSM technology monopoly in the US serving 130 million Americans.

Microsoft paid Nokia $1billion to choose Windows Phone 7 over Android
