Google adds Person Finder tool to help find Japan tsunami victims

• 11/03/2011

Call to action for anyone who has been impacted by the terrible natural disaster that took place in Japan early this morning. Google is not the type of organization to simply sit around and watch CNN like most, so with their vast amount of development resources, they’ve launched the Google Person Finder tool to make it easy for people affected by disaster to locate individuals using a simple online tool. There are currently a few small thousand records entered, but imagine with the press coverage here along with other sites, this will be used much more by the days end to help victims in need.

The full power of search by Google, not only online, but made for real life. Our hearts and thoughts are with all those along the Eastern Coast of the Pacific during these trying times.
