FCC is against cellphone jammers – no cell signal blocking allowed

• 11/03/2011

So you may have heard or seen that cell signal jamming is really the only way to keep kids in school from cheating on exams, or sexting each other during class, or making sure that you’re not using a cell device within certain areas of the hospital. As much as we think we need this, the FCC warns that it could lead to people being unable to place emergency calls when needed, and thus, they will actively pursue and charge people or organizations who use these ‘jamming’ devices. The result if the FCC wins the cases, could actually result in a jail sentence, depending on the circumstances of course.
