Apple vs Microsoft – graphic timeline history of war in computing industry spanning 30 years

Since 1984, when Apple advertised the world changing as we know it (or knew it then) during the Superbowl, there has been a war going on in the computer industry between Apple and Microsoft. Manolution has put together a great timeline of the history between some of the greatest achievements and worst decisions for both, along with their stock prices to illustrate the value of each company at the time until today. While Microsoft originally (and still does) concentrate on software, Apple has gone the way of hardware. This has made for a few interesting turns in the market for both, which you can view below.
