Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer made an appearance at BlackBerry World event in Orlando Tuesday to state the new partnership between Microsoft and RIM for integrating Bing services into new BlackBerry OS going forward. Bing will be the default search and map utility on every new BlackBerry devices after the event this week, which will all be part of BlackBerry OS rather than just a set of apps included in the devices stock installs.

There was also a hint of a new BlackBerry OS being released before the holiday season late in 2011 after OS 7. hmmm.

It would seem that Microsoft, RIM and Nokia all identify that they need to start sharing resources if they want to somehow stop the Apple and Google Android trains rolling over their graves.
