Steve Jobs rejected to be knighted? Gates has one up on him still

• 01/03/2011

What’s left for a guy who has conquered the technology world, and helped pave the way for a new age in technology? Get knighted of course! Only one problem….if you want to get knighted, you must go through a series of approvals, with one of them having to be in the ‘good books’ with the Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Apparently, Gordon Brown asked Steve Jobs to speak at Labour’s annual conference, but Stevie turned it down…hence sometime afterwards, PM Brown rejected Jobs to be knighted according to The Telegraph.

I guess Bill Gates didn’t have any issues with those types of requests, as he was knighted back in 2005.
