RBC predicts Apple iPad2 will sell 30 Millon units in 1st year

• 24/02/2011

RBC Capital Markets Managing Director Mike Abramsky told investors on Wednesday that they should have firm beliefs in Apple’s marketing, and strategic plans for 2011, predicting that the Apple iPad2, which should be unveiled next week, would sell 30 million units from April 2011 to March 2012.

Specs were also part of his note to investors, which outlined the iPad2 having 1.2 GHz processor, 512MB RAM, rear camera, front facing camera for facetime, and a thinner, lighter casing.

As always, the iPad2 is expected to be a little thin on quantity at launch, which I believe is just a smart marketing ploy to keep demand higher longer.
