iOS 4.3.3 location tracking fix

We heard a couple days ago that Apple planned on releasing its iOS 4.3.3 to fix the location tracking that fueled much controversy over the last couple weeks, but Apple has decided no more testing is needed, as they released the update earlier today. This will turn off the code responsible for tracking your 3G devices location including the iPhone and iPad devices. iOS 4.2.8 is also out for Verizon Wireless devices which will do the same fixes as well.

The update is only a mere 666.2MB in size, so if you’re a superstitious person, don’t install it, if you aren’t… giv ‘er!
