Apple iPad2 is already in production – claims WSJ

• 09/02/2011

According to the Wall Street Journal, the iPad2 has already been in production, and will be thinner, lighter and faster then the first iPad in every way. This comes to WSJ from a source who is “familiar with the matter”. Rumors also speculate that the new iPad2 will have a front facing camera, 1GB RAM, and a more powerful graphics processor. I’d say the iPad2 needs to have these included, so I would call it much of rumors as more like ‘need’ if Apple plans to hold their Tablet market share title after the massive launch of Android tablets from CES. Tablets like the LG G-Slate and Motorola Xoom are already holding many more powerful specs than the original iPad. Gotta try to stay on top Apple.
