iOS 5 update

Rumors are suggesting that Apple is currently in talks with Verizon on including OTA updating mechanisms in the new iOS 5 release which is slated to come out at the annual Worldwide Developer Conference. If OTA updates are part of iOS 5 however, they would likely be available to all carriers who have iOS devices (iPhone, iPad), thus allowing you to receive update notifications directly to your device when they are ready to download instead of relying on crappy iTunes.

Other notables are improvements to the notification system on iOS devices, as many users find them over bearing and obnoxious, unlike the BlackBerry and Android notification systems being small and unintrusive. Also, we may see improvements to how the camera application is loaded, making it easier to access when you want to take a shot fast.
