Apple iCloud free for launch period – may cost $25 per year afterwards

According to several reports, Apple’s iCloud service has signed agreements with all major record labels and is ready to launch iCloud at WWDC June 6th. The icon seen above is similar to what the final icon will look like for the service from Apple. The Los Angeles Times reports that the service may be free for iTunes customers during the first launch period to try out, then will cost about $25 per year. We’ll hear much more about this service next week.
