UberTwitter (now UberSocial) and Twidroyd back online

• 22/02/2011

After being suspended Friday, UberSocial (formerly UberTwitter) and Twidroyd have regained access to the Twitter API and are available for use on BlackBerries and Android devices once again.

Twitter suspended the two apps due to apparent policy violations, including messages longer than the 140 character limit as well as trademark infringements. After changes made to the applications (both developed by company UberMedia) were submitted to Twitter for review, the ban was lifted. Users will need to download updates before resuming use.
