twitter suspends

Twitter suspended two well know twitter apps for violating policies put in place for third-party developers who access Twitter’s APIs. UberTwitter for Blackberry devices and Twitdroyd for Android, both owned by UberMedia, were violating policies cited Twitter covering “a privacy issue with private Direct Messages longer than 140 characters, trademark infringement, and changing the content of users’ Tweets in order to make money.”

Twitter recommends using the official Twitter app for anyone who may have been using those suspended programs, as Twitter now has their own apps available for all platforms.

Don’t mess with the Twitter!
