T-Mobile jacks the price of G2X to $249 – $50 increase?

• 31/05/2011

We had heard about the T-Mobile G2X suffering a bug where the device randomly rebooted consistently. The bug is being fixed by LG and T-Mobile. Thereafter however, the G2X was being pulled from T-Mobile‘s shelves due to “inventory constraints”, not from the reported bugs. As much as that’s hard to believe, check this out.

T-Mobile has raised the price of the G2X from $199 to $249 due to the ‘inventory constraints’. As though we were dealing with a rare metal or agave plant in Mexico shortage, they see this as being the best way to fix the shortage in production? That’s just plain silly T-Mobile.
