T-Mobile G-Slate at MWC 2011 – images and comparisons

• 14/02/2011

T-Mobile is really good at taking a device, slapping it’s own branding on it, and calling it something different, when really…it’s the same. The T-Mobile myTouch was an HTC Magic, the T-Mobile G2 is an HTC Desire Z, and now the T-Mobile G-Slate is the LG Optimus Pad.

As you can see in the gallery below, its the same, just with some T-Mobile branding. Runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb, has dual cameras on teh back, 3D video recording, front facing camera, etc. Same as the LG Optimus Pad. The differences are these; the T-Mobile logo on the backside, and the added T-Mobile apps for network connectivity on T-Mobile‘s network and custom T-Mobile “My Device” apps. that’s about it.
