T-Mobile adds two new budget smartphones to lineup

Two new budget-friendly smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Mini and T-Mobile Move, which were announced at Mobile World Congress earlier this week have been added to the T-Mobile lineup and are slated for launch sometime this spring.

The Samsung Galaxy Mini will be a smaller alternative to the Galaxy S 4G and the T-Mobile Move will be even more compact than the Galaxy Mini.

Here’s a break-down of what you can expect with each phone:

Samsung Galaxy Mini

  • 3.2-inch touchscreen display
  • 600MHz processor
  • 150MB of internal storage
  • microSDHC support
  • Android 2.2 Froyo operating system

T-Mobile Move

  • a tiny 2.8-inch 320 x 240-pixel display
  • 2-megapixel camera
  • 150MB of internal storage
  • microSDHC support
  • Android 2.2 Froyo operating system

These devices are expected to run between $50 – $75 on contract.
