Sony Xperia PLAY and Arc to receive Android 2.3.3 update by end of May

We haven’t heard Sony confirm this as of yet, but we imagine we will by the end of the weekend. A new update is supposedly going to be rolling out for the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY and Arc, bringing it up to Android 2.3.3 by the end of May. The update is to hit all Xperia Arc and PLAY models, and will be including “Facebook inside Xperia” integration as well, further expanding on the Facebook experience within the device. This may or may not include the Verizon Xperia PLAY for now, but will get the update down the road.
