Sign is free today, draw to call or text – Amazon Appstore for Android

• 03/07/2011

The communication application for Android called ‘Sign’ is now available today in the Amazon Appstore for Android. The app is usually $1.99 in Amazon or the Android Market, and was developed by Simply Applied. Sign is essentially a speed dialer for touchscreen interfaces and allows you to call or text anyone in your contact list by assigning them a letter or number, where you simply draw that character to make the call or text. This app makes it much easier to connect with your most frequent contacts much faster rather than having to search via voice or scroll in the contacts list.

Here’s some of the features in Sign;

  • Avoid accidental calls/misdials with enhanced gesture recognition
  • Adjust call confirmation from off up to four seconds)
  • Make a call with a single swipe without looking

Grab it today by clicking the Sign link below. There is also a free version available in the Android Market, where the restriction is only 3 contacts can be added.
