Sharp launches first Android smartphone with NTT DoCoMo

Over at NTT DoCoMo in Japan, Sharp is launching a new Android device sporting 3D cameras called the SHARP Aquos SH-12C. It runs a version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread which looks to be heavily skinned, has a 1.4 GHz processor, 4.2 inch screen with qHD glasses-free 3D display, 8 megapixel camera which can shoot 3D HD video and 512MB RAM.

This new device will likely never see the North American shoreline, but its launching May 20th in Japan.
