Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10inch and S2 4inch confirmed

• 12/02/2011

The Samsung Galaxy Tab and S are getting some revisions for their successors, which are confirmed to be making their appearances at MWC 2011 on Sunday the 13th. The Samsung Galaxy S2 will have 4G with 24Mbps HSPA+, 800×480 SuperAMOLED Plus display, 1GHz dual-core processor (Exynos), NFC, Bluetooth 3.0, running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, at least from what we can see from the pic above.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab2 will also be 4G, but this time to compete with other larger spec’d Android Tablets, it’s going to be 10.1 inches rather than the 7inch available right now. Should be running Android 3.0 Honeycomb, sporting 1280×800 resolution, likely 1GHz dual-core (if it really wants to compete with the Xoom and G-Slate), and comes in 16GB/32GB/64GB storage flavors.

There is speculation that these new Galaxy family devices will be exploring 3D display like the LG Optimus 3D, but we can’t confirm that, or the cameras included in these devices. We’ll have to wait for MWC tomorrow to find out.
