Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Goes for PreOrder from BestBuy

• 15/09/2011

While it might have been banned in Germany, Samsung seems to be going ahead with its plans to release the younger an smaller cousin of the Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Tab 8.9 in the U.S. The first signs of the fact that Samsung is launching this one in the US soon came earlier today when retailer BestBuy listed the 8.9 inch Tablet as being available for preorder.

According to BestBuy, you should be able to get your Galaxy Tab 8.9 sometime between the 25th and the 30th of September 2011. The Tablet as bee priced at $469.99 for the 16 GB Wi-Fi version. The 32 GB version with 3G support will set you back by $569.99.

Announced back in March on the sidelines of the CTIA Wireless Conference, most of the history of this one has been rattled with talk’s about the Apple vs Samsung legal tussle. So much so, that some people are not even aware of the specs this one has. (OK, I made up that one!) . Since we are talking about specs, let me remind you that this one is just a Galaxy Tab 10.1 in a smaller package. Apart from the smaller display on this one, the rest of the features on this one is same as that of its bigger screened sibling.

All you early adopters, head over to the BestBuy website to get yours by the end of the month!
