Samsung Galaxy S II hands on images and video
The great folks over at Engadget recently got a chance to do a full hands on review of the new super smartphone, the samsung Galaxy S II. This device has sexy written all over it, from the thin form factor to the 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, to the 1080p video recording and 8 megapixel camera with flash, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It really is the best Android device on the market, and dare I say the best smartphone in general on the market, yes, over and above the iPhone 4 in every way.
This phone is FAST, as you can see below by the Quadrant benchmark test graphic, it leaves other devices in the dust! To give you perspective, I have a samsung Galaxy S Captivate which rates 1500 on Quadrant with CyanogemMod 7 installed over the stock Android OS, the Galaxy S II more than doubles that. Eesh!
All in all, to put this real brief for you, the samsung Galaxy S looks amazing, the video is crisp, the pics are great, and the UI is very responsive, making this definitely the smartphone to buy when it gets to your location! Have a look at the videos and images below for an overview.
