samsung galaxy S II

The great folks over at Engadget recently got a chance to do a full hands on review of the new super smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S II. This device has sexy written all over it, from the thin form factor to the 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, to the 1080p video recording and 8 megapixel camera with flash, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It really is the best Android device on the market, and dare I say the best smartphone in general on the market, yes, over and above the iPhone 4 in every way.

This phone is FAST, as you can see below by the Quadrant benchmark test graphic, it leaves other devices in the dust! To give you perspective, I have a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate which rates 1500 on Quadrant with CyanogemMod 7 installed over the stock Android OS, the Galaxy S II more than doubles that. Eesh!
