PlayStation emulator PSX4Droid for Android gets pulled from Market by Google

Looks like the PlayStation Emulator that so many enjoyed from the Android Market is no more…ever more…ever more. Google removed it from the Market citing;

“We remove apps from Android Market that violate our policies.”

I know, I know, pretty bleak on the explanation there, but if you wanted to sell your new dark roast coffee blend at the local barista, you get rid of the Nabob you were brewing before, right? That’s likely what Google has in mind by removing it, as it stands tpo compete directly with the new |Xperia Play smartphone which is clearly much more than a simple PS Emulator…a dark robust roast of PS titles to come as well.

Should they have removed it? Maybe not, as some would argue its apple and oranges in the grand scheme of things. But, it is Google’s Market after all, and they’ll decide what’s good for us…and what’s not. After all, they have more data on us individually than our own family may have in a photo album.
