iOS code shows cameras coming for iPad2

• 14/01/2011

When you get a chance, and I know not many people care to do this, to crack open the code of iOS, you’ll often find gems that haven’t been officially announced by Apple. This is the case with iOS 4.3. Among seeing verions of the iPad2 and iPhone 4 we haven’t seen before, there’s some additional code for new features like iLife or PhotoBooth, etc. In the picture above, we have more code related proof hinting towards a new iPad2 in development, maybe without a home button, maybe not. This pic suggests (pic is a mockup) however that the iPad2 will be shipping with a camera. Let’s hope that they improve the display resolution as well, maybe Retina display?
