Netflix for Android leaks online – no streaming support yet

• 16/03/2011

Earlier this week, someone (Alex Smith) was able to take the Netflix APK out of the LG Revolution and hack it up a bit until it started to actually connect to Netflix streaming services, despite it not being officially launched for Android devices.  Now, you can install the Netflix APK onto any Android device and access the app.  The downside here however is that when you try to access streaming, or play a movie, it simply says it can’t connect to Netflix service.  That said, the app will allow you to manage your Netflix account via the app, as well as set a queue and browse movies available.

No word on when this will be a fully featured app for Android devices, but it is meant to be an integrated service with the LG Revolution smartphone.
