Motorola Mobility is looking beyond the US for its recently announced DROID RAZR, with Clove UK posting a November 1 release of the handset.

According to Clove’s website, the DROID RAZR will carry a price tag of £454.80 but is still subject to change so eager consumers can subscribe on Motorola Mobility’s UK site for updates.

Launched ahead by several hours to samsung and Google’s Unpacked 2011, the company opted to use Android 2.3 Gingerbread on the RAZR rather than the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that runs on samsung’s Galaxy Nexus smartphone.

Assuming that the UK version will have similar specs, the handset will come with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with support for 1080p HD video recording.

Motorola Mobility claims that the DROID RAZR is the thinnest smartphone to date at only 7.1 mm thick (thinnest point).
