Well, I think we’re actually starting to wind down in Tablet launches, at least for a little while after CES in January, and now the end of MWC in Barcelona. One of the mid range manufacturers is Huawei, who have had other experience launching mid-spec or entry-level Android devices last year.

Here we have their Tablet offering called the IDEOS S7 Slim Tablet, and their latest smartphone called the IDEOS X3. Funny thing is that the S7 will be launched with Android 2.2, and the X3 with Android 2.3…I think they have that backwards… but that’s just me.

The S7 Slim Tablet will only cost around $300 this Spring, and feature Wi-Fi, 3G, 720p video playback. Nothing really notable about these devices, but the good prices.
