Apple using Samsung parts worth $7.8 billion this year

Should make for an interesting story here, and you could look at it two ways. On one hand you could reason that Apple’s success with their mobile products is largely due to the quality of hardware being bought from Samsung, n the other hand, you could argue that if it weren’t for Apple’s business, Samsung may not have had the capitol to launch such a massive line of mobile devices last year.

Both of those being said, Apple will be Samsung’s largest contract for parts in 2011, totaling $7.8 billion. That’s a big deal. Are they buying up as many LCD displays as possible for a major launch of mobile Apple products this year? Maybe, we’ll all have to wait and see.
