apple samsung galaxy S Tab iPad iPhone lawsuit

You gotta admit, Samsung has been pushing the boundaries of what is original and what is copied with it’s Galaxy line of devices, particularly with the Galaxy S smartphone, the Galaxy Tab and the Galaxy Player. All 3 look strikingly similar in form and features to the Apple iPhone 3G, iPad and iPod Touch respectively.

To add fuel to the fire, Samsung is a major parts manufacturer and supplier for Apple mobile products, so they look to have a first glimpse of what Apple may be pushing out onto shelves in the future before anyone else has a clue. Obviously this could be seen as having an advantage to further their own mobile product development, which is mainly the case here. Either that, or Apple is just growing tired of being sued themselves.

Here’s what the complaint states, which is being put through as an intellectual property violations on a host of devices.

Rather than innovate and develop its own technology and a unique Samsung style for its smart phone products and computer tablets, Samsung chose to copy Apple’s technology, user interface and innovative style in these infringing products

Neither Apple nor Samsung have commented on the lawsuit as of yet.
