Android Market has Sprint carrier billing option for app purchases

android market sprint payment billing option

Well, if you’re on Sprint with an Android device, you can now purchase you apps from the market and have them charged to your Sprint bill rather than add a credit card (if you’re still a little paranoid of putting your credit number online). Sprint has to do something to keep business going, as T-Mobile added this feature back in 2009, and then AT&T in 2010…wait a second, T-MobileAT&T…is there something going on there? Yes.

No doubt Sprint is starting to feel some pressure of adding customer value in staying with them whether the AT&T/T-Mobile deal goes through or not. See, big business deals like this usually end up being a good thing for consumers.
