• 03/06/2011

Over the past month, Google has put out another Android OS (3.1 Honeycomb), and a few devices have gotten some Gingerbread love, so this chart shows the latest report from Google on the Android distribution mix for devices. Last one showed Android 2.2 or higher was 70%, now we see that has gone up to 74.4%. devices running Android 2.3 or higher has gone up from under 5% to 9.8% as well, meaning updates are a flowing, and we’ll start to see the Froyo mix go down likely as Gingerbread and Tablet devices take over the market by the end of 2011.
