Amazon Android tablets named ‘Coyote’ and ‘Hollywood’ – ready this year

• 17/05/2011

It’s been stirring around the online for a few days now, the fact that Amazon is planning to launch not one, but possibly a few Android devices including a couple tablets and a smartphone. The names of these devices was not known… until now.

The entry level Tablet will be named ‘Coyote‘, which may feature an NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform, and the bigger brother will be named ‘Hollywood‘, which should feature the soon to be released NVIDIA T30 Kal-El quad-core processor. That would make this one of the first to make the quad-core Tablet claim, but there will be others…oh yes…there will be others. We’re trying to find out more specs as you read this as well.
