Adobe Flash 10.2 available – beta for Android 3.0 – video demo

• 21/03/2011

The latest version of Adobe Flash is now available for Android devices, version 10.2 (10.2.156.12). The latest version is a release candidate for Android 2.2 Froyo and Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but still only in beta form for Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets.

The video above shows the new Adobe Flash 10.2 in action on the Verizon Motorola Xoom, and although it is built for optimizing the web experience, Adobe mentions that its best used with Google’s code, or browser. Firefox 4 and Opera users may need to test it out to see how it reacts. The video shows there are some ‘lag’ issues when first loading flash enabled web content, but runs fairly smooth afterwards.
